suspect in the Nov. 5 home-intrusion rape in Palo Alto has a 25-year record
of burglary, rape, robbery and escape.. Police charged Stanley Vernard
Wells with raping a woman in her
home Nov 5. and charged with sodomy in the course of
residential burglary and unlawful sexual penetration. If Wells
is convicted he could face "100 years to life" under California's

Arvin mayor Juan Olivares arrested for alleged child molestation  Bakersfield,
CA - On Election Eve, Arvin Mayor Juan Olivares has been arrested
for alleged child molestation. Kern County sheriff's deputies arrested
Olivares on five counts of child molestation involving two
alleged victims under the age of 14. The counts include one
charge of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, three
counts of sexual penetration of a child
under the age of 14, and one count of sexual battery. All the

Bay Area Rapper Mac Dre Gunned Down In Kansas City  Bay
Area rapper Mac Dre, whose real name is Andre Hicks, was
gunned down Monday in Kansas City, Missouri, while riding in a van on
the highway. The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:30 a.m.,
when another vehicle pulled alongside the van he was riding in and opened
fire. The van swerved across the highway median, across the southbound
lanes and down a steep embankment. Hicks was thrown from the vehicle,
but is said to have died from the shooting. - (Border

Campos Salazar charged with forcible rape, committing a lewd act on a
child and committing an act of unlawful sexual intercourse. He is also facing the special allegation of inflicting great bodily injury because of the pregnancy. If convicted of all charges, Salazar faces 11 years in prison. Salazar was arrested two days after the girl gave birth to a baby girl in San Jose via an emergency Caesarian section. The girl claimed not to know she was pregnant and had complained of abdominal pains. She was 30 weeks pregnant and the pains were identified as labor. Mexican
that raped 14-yr-old girl caught in Northern California while making a
run for the border OREGON
CITY, Ore. -- A 35-year-old Oregon City man was arrested in California,
accused of raping a 14-year-old Clackamas County girl. The victim told
police that Heriberto Mojica-Mendoza assaulted her last week.
Fearing that the suspect was headed for Mexico, investigators notified
law enforcement agencies along the Interstate 5 corridor. Police caught
up with Mojica-Mendoza early Wednesday near Dunsmuir, Calif. Mojica-Mendoza
will be extradited to Oregon to face rape and kidnapping charges. - (NNN

He knocked on her door and asked for directions. When she gave them he
left but returned and asked to use the phone but when she tried to close
the door he forced his way inside and sexually assaulted her. She
started screaming and told him she was pregnant. The woman needed stitches.
He is dark skinned with a 1-inch ponytail and was frizzy on the
