Daughter of Black Sentenced To 30 Years For Role In White Teacher's Kidnap, Rape and Murder   The teenage daughter of the man convicted of killing an Alamo Heights teacher was sentenced to 30 years in the Texas Youth Commission. The punishment for Pearl Cruz, 17, was in exchange for testimony against her father, Ronnie Neal, in his capital murder trial. Neal was found guilty of abducting, raping and fatally shooting Diane Tilly in November 2004. He was sentenced to die by lethal injection. Bludgeoned and strangled bodies of six relatives found in basement A young black man was charged today with bludgeoning or strangling six relatives, whose bodies were found wrapped in sheets and blankets in the basement of his grandmother's US home. Authorities in Pennsylvania said Jesse Dee Wise, 21, confessed, but they would not comment on a motive. Three of the victims were hit in the head with a blunt metal object, and three others were strangled, police said in an affidavit. The victims, spanning three generations of the same family, were identified as Wise's 64-year-old grandmother, Emily Wise; Wanda Wise, 45, and Arlene Wise, who is in her 30s; Skyler Wise, 19; Jesse James Wise, 17; and Chance Wise, 5, said East Lampeter Township police Chief John Bowman. Police Investigate Gang Rape Of Mentally Disabled Girl by Six Black Men WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- Two young men have been arrested and police were seeking four others in the alleged gang rape of a 14-year-old mentally disabled girl. Police said the six men and the girl went to a motel off Kimberly Avenue at about 1 a.m. Saturday morning. The girl called her father from the motel lobby after she was raped by the men, and her father called police, authorities said. Tramont Murray (pictured), 18, of Hamden, and a teenager under 18 whom police did not name were charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Paralyzed black 5-year-old forgives black gunman  BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- Five-year-old Kai Leigh Harriott sat in the front of the courtroom in her wheelchair and looked directly at the man who had just pleaded guilty to firing the shot that paralyzed her.
At first, she broke down, crying harder than she ever had since the night nearly three years ago when Anthony Warren fired three rounds at the house where she was sitting on a porch.
After a sip of water and some consoling from her mother, Kai spoke."What you done to me was wrong," she said to the man seated just 10 feet away. "But I still forgive him." Father of 8-year-old black boy who shot a 7-year-old day-care classmate accused of stabbing the boy's mother The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Thursday night. The 37-year-old victim told police her ex-boyfriend, 56-year-old John Linwood Hall, assaulted her. Hall confronted the victim in the parking lot of her apartment complex and when she tried to go to her apartment, Hall allegedly beat her and then stabbed her with a knife. The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Hall is also the father of an 8-year-old boy involved in a shooting incident at a suburban Washington day-care center in January. In that incident, police said Hall's 8-year-old son took his father's handgun to a day-care center and the gun "accidentally" went off, striking a 7-year-old girl in the arm. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Black Marine Sergeant Charged With Solicitation Of Minor Texas -- The Lake Worth Police Department has made another arrest for solicitation of a minor. Sgt. Brian C. Jordan, 25, was arrested on Wednesday at about 1 p.m. while attempting to meet with what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl for sex, police said. The girl was actually a Lake Worth police officer who posed as the teen girl in an online chatroom. Jordan, who is a sergeant in the Marine Corps, is stationed at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base and is a resident of Fort Worth. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Coast Guard Academy to Court-Martial Black Cadet for rape, sodomy, extortion and assault NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A cadet at the Coast Guard Academy will face a court-martial on rape and other charges, the first such trial in the institution's history, the school said Wednesday. Webster M. Smith, 22, faces nine charges including rape, sodomy, extortion and assault. He had faced misconduct accusations from seven female cadets, ranging from rape to improper touching. Black boyfriend sentenced to life in prison for the drowning deaths of his former white girlfriend's three children    Maurice LaGrone Jr. was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the drowning deaths of his white former girlfriend's three children in Clinton Lake in 2003.
The McLean County jury that convicted LaGrone on Tuesday met Wednesday to decide if LaGrone was eligible for the death penalty. LaGrone was found guilty on all nine counts of first-degree murder. Amanda Hamm, the mother of the 3 children, is also charged in the deaths of six-year-old Christopher Hamm, three-year old Austin Brown, and 23-month-old Kyleigh Hamm. 83-year-old White Rockville Landlord Found Slain -
Police Place Black Tenant Under Arrest  Montgomery County police, armed with a search warrant, searched the home of a missing 83-year-old man and found his body in the laundry room. And police believe the suspect, who is now in custody, may have been living in the house for weeks with the victim's body still inside. Police said William King was last seen March 19 by his neighbors. Detectives said King's boarder, 41-year-old Kirk Wilkerson, allegedly killed the elderly man and then continued to live in the house with the hidden body. "The body was found in the laundry room. There was a huge pile of clothes inside the laundry room and the body was found in the area of the clothes," Burnett said. Authorities arrested Holly Thomas at his home. "According to the victim, from the time she was about 2 years old until she was age 12 or 13, whenever she would sleep over at Thomas' house, the relative would pull down her pants and sexually batter her." Black Misceginist Stepfather Accused of Raping white 10-year-old girl, impregnating her - white wife/mother also charged   Iowa - Parma police have been working with Iowa investigators in the case of a girl allegedly being raped by her stepfather. Joseph Coles, 40, is accused of impregnating the girl twice. Coles was charged with 242 counts, including kidnapping, rape, gross sexual imposition and endangering a child. He faces life in prison if convicted.
His wife, Dawn Coles, 36, was charged with five counts, including tampering with evidence, obstructing justice and endangering children. During this time period the victim was between 10 and 15 years of age. On two separate occasions, the victim became pregnant as the result of these attacks, the first time being at the age of 12. Houston Police Department warns of serial rapist with eye for church properties The Houston Police Department is warning that a male sexual predator, usually armed with a knife, may be picking up females of all races and sexually assaulting them.
Police report the suspect approaches females who are walking and asks them if they need a ride. Some of the victims, but not all of them, have been involved in prostitution. Victims claim the suspect has a very friendly approach.
On April 2, the body of Pamela Ann Goss, 50, was found behind a church at 1927 Mansfield. As a result of the investigation, the homicide division learned of additional victims who may have been picked up by a black male suspect and taken to church properties in north Houston. Police Name Rape Suspect Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police want your help finding the man who they believe raped a sixteen year old girl. They've named 40 year old Edward Shuman as their suspect.
Shuman has black hair and brown eyes and stands five feet seven inches tall. He weighs about 170 pounds. Police have charged him with rape, aggravated assault and kidnapping. Detectives believe he raped a sixteen year old girl on March 15th after posing as a maintenance man to get inside her family's apartment at the Blackshear Homes public housing complex.

Oswalt has been a Portland Police Bureau desk clerk for 10 years and worked under Foxworth when he was a commander of the Northeast Precinct in 2000.
In a torte claim, which could result in a lawsuit, she alleges that Foxworth sent her sexually explicit e-mails and ordered her to keep their relationship a secret. She says she was a victim of sexual discrimination and that Foxworth's actions made her fear for her job.

Alexis "Eddie Ray" Wilson, 38, of Shreveport is expected to be booked into Caddo Correctional Center this afternoon on one count each of obstruction of justice, accessory to first-degree murder, accessory to attempted first-degree murder and accessory to aggravated burglary.
And two men previously arrested in connection with the death of Joe Franklin Prock each was booked Thursday on a charge of aggravated burglary instead of armed robbery as originally thought. Felton Dejuan Dorsey, 32, and Randy Jerome Wilson, 20, each also face one count each of first-degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Randy Jerome Wilson is no relation to Alexis "Eddie Ray" Wilson. Dark Demon Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday.
