Second Illegal Hispanic suspect held in Brookline rape case Brookline police arrested Ismael Martinez, 26, the second suspect in the early-morning attack Tuesday on a 30-year-old Brookline woman. He joined Jose Arita, 25, who was arrested Thursday. The victim, returning from Logan International Airport, had been dropped off by taxi. As she was walking with her luggage, two men hit her in the head from behind, choked her, and put her into a red pickup truck parked on a side street. The truck sped off, but was caught on police surveillance cameras. The two suspects face charges of assault with intent to rape, aggravated rape, and kidnapping. Harrington said that the suspects knew each other and worked together as freelance plasterers. Both suspects are believed to be living in the United States illegally - Arita from Guatemala and Martinez from Mexico. Riviera Beach police seek homeless black suspected of rape Police are searching for a homeless man suspected of attacking and raping a woman and then imprisoning her overnight. Cops say Dennis Hatcher, who is about 46, beat a woman with a flashlight early Friday morning in Riviera Beach. The adult woman, who knows Hatcher, told police that after beating her, Hatcher threatened her with a knife and raped her. Later, he took her to her house and forced his way in. He stayed there with her overnight so she couldn't call police and snuck out the back door later Friday morning when a friend knocked on the door, officials said. - (Newsroom) |
Black DHS Case Manager Charged with Rape Police say 38 year old Darius Willis allegedly performed sexual acts on a female client after leading her to believe that she had to submit to his advances in exchange for help in obtaining food stamps. Willis was arrested Friday at his DHS office inside Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The 28-year-old victim reports she went to Willis office Thursday to discuss Medicaid and food stamp issues. She said that Willis raped her in the office while implying that if she did not go along with his advances, approval for food stamps would be less likely. - (Newsroom) |
66-yr-old woman describes rape attack by black The defendant, Floyd Lee Bonds, 45, sat with his right hand was wrapped in a beige bandage. The victim was raped in her home near Frye Regional Medical Center after her attacker pried open her door and assaulted her. Investigators believe the victim did not know her attacker. Bonds was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree burglary. The victim said "I remember seeing the door open, and he was standing there," she said. She testified that as he came toward her she said, "What are you doing here? Get out of my house." She said he turned off her lamp, climbed on the bed and raped her. - (Newsroom) |

Black charged with sexual assault of handicapped girl A 28-year-old Cahokia man is in police custody for allegedly molesting a wheelchair-bound 11-year-old girl. Marvin J. Burries was charged with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. During an interrogation, Burries attempted to jump from a window in the interrogation room, located on the second floor of the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department. Pack of black teens beat homeless White man to death Police continued to search Friday for a group of teenagers who beat a homeless man to death on a street as passersby slowed to watch, Anthony Waters, 42, suffered a lacerated spleen and broken ribs and died at Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center after the attack Wednesday night. The young attackers were described as black teenagers possibly as young as 13 or as old as 18. Stacho estimated their ages at between 15 and 17. Black allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife in front of their 11-year-old daughter at a YMCA  The man who police say shot and killed his ex-wife in front of their children at a Montclair YMCA swim class Thursday night, remains at large this morning. Montclair Deputy Police Chief Perry Mayers said the killer, Kenneth Anton Duckett, 37, the father of the dead woman's two children, fled the scene and was last seen in a white jeep. The woman -- Montclair resident Monica Paul, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. At his arraignment Jerwayne Hunter, 25, a traveling magazine salesman, pleaded not guilty to charges of child enticement, accosting, assault and battery, and peddling without a license. The girl told police she was riding her bike home from Dick & June's and was on a path behind the Stop & Shop on Elliott Street when a man jumped out of the bushes, "firmly" grabbed her arm and asked, "Where's your license?" Black Registered Sex Offender Charged In Rape of Girl, 10 TAMPA - A registered sexual offender released from prison in November was arrested Sunday on a charge of raping a 10-year-old girl. Byron Simmons, 29, was arrested just before 4 a.m. Sunday and charged with sexual battery of a child less than 12 years old. Simmons, 2404 N. 11th St., Tampa, picked up the victim from her home and drove her to Copeland Park on North 15th Street at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Jackie Ray Sullivan, 31, of Norman, was arrested and booked on suspicion of first-degree rape and forcible sodomy. Detectives arrested Sullivan after interviewing him at the Norman police station. Jesse Dajuan Miles, 19, is named in arrest warrants charging two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated assault as well as domestic assault, simple assault, robbery and criminal contempt of court. 55-Year-Old Negro Charged With Raping 8-Year-Old Girl Authorities charged a 55-year-old Delaware man Sunday, saying he's been raping an 8-year-old girl regularly since last November. Police took Benjamin Sudler into custody at his North Market Street home in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon. A computer check revealed Sudler was wanted by several Delaware courts, although they did not mention what his alleged previous offenses were. Homeless Negro Accused Of Raping Girl, 11 DETROIT -- A homeless man charged with pulling an 11-year-old girl into an abandoned duplex in Detroit and raping her had to be separated from other prisoners, for his own safety once they learned he was facing a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in the little girl's rape. Kevin Bernard Meredith, 47, was arraigned and is being held on a $100,000 cash bond. The alleged attack happened on Sunday, May 18, as the victim left her aunt's house and was on her way to play at a park. Negro started sexually assaulting her when she was 8 years old An Orange Lake black has been arrested and charged with committing sex acts on a 14-year-old girl, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Lee Curnel Hunt, 33, allegedly assaulted the child, who is now 14, over the last six years. Hunt was arrested after a North Marion Middle School resource officer reported the crime. The victim originally reported the case in 2004, but she recanted her statements and Hunt avoided charges. The girl said that two months after the charges were dropped against Hunt, he started engaging in sex acts with her again. "She confided in a friend this time," Riggins said, "and she told the school resource officer. That's how we learned of it." The girl said that Hunt last assaulted her during spring break two weeks ago. She said Hunt started assaulting her when she was 8 years old. - (Newsroom) |
Teen girl raped for 5 years by black boyfriend of foster mother  19-year old Crystal Davis is breaking her silence about years of sexual abuse she claims at the hands of her foster care provider, 70-year old Lawrence Bright. Bright was her foster mother’s boyfriend. “Anytime my mom wasn’t home and sometimes maybe she was there and she like had no clue but most of the time it’s when she wasn’t there,” said Davis.The girl told of years of abuse she claims began when she was just 13. Authorities arrested Van Roger Smith Jr., 16, and Sherrod Nicholas Harrison, 19, Monday afternoon. After a search, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took Michael Graham Currie, 18, into custody Monday night. All three teens were charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of breaking and entering. All are from Cameron. Twelve-year-old Emily Elizabeth Haddock was shot to death Friday in her home on Marks Road outside of Vass, authorities said. The girl had stayed home from school with strep throat and was alone. "(She was) very quiet, soft spoken, always had a smile. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Black Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Mitchell later moved to Connecticut and was convicted in January 2003 of illegal sexual contact with another child. - (Black-on-White) |

Two men have been arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office on a variety of sex charges involving a 12-year-old girl. Ramiro Pineda-Vargas, 18, was accused of first-degree sex abuse and second-degree sodomy. Francisco Lopez-Mendez, 19, was accused of first-degree sex abuse, second-degree rape and unlawful penetration with a foreign object. 
Federal immigration authorities have confirmed the man suspected of kidnapping and raping a Watsonville woman last weekend is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, the San Benito County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.

Police were searching Friday night for a man they believe set a fire in an apartment to escape a neighborhood crowd that chased him after a woman called out that he had sexually assaulted her daughter. Jeremy Dontae Craft, 21, is considered armed and dangerous, The man ran into an apartment and barricaded himself inside, Henderson said. "Craft then set the apartment on fire as a distraction in order to escape the mob that was after him," Henderson said. The witnesses said they heard a loud noise, and the windows of the apartment were blown out by a fiery blast.
