Lewd Jason Williams arrested for rape of an 83-year-old woman - previously convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl  A 27-year-old Omaha man was arrested Friday night just before 10 o'clock after an 83-year-old woman called police and said she'd been raped.
The man the alleged victim described was found at the scene of the assault at 23rd and Castelar Jason Williams is facing charges of first-degree sexual assault, burglary and false imprisonment.
Police records show Williams was convicted in 2001 of second-degree sexual assault for an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.
He also served 31 days in jail for lewd conduct last October. - (crime) - (reader link) |

Black former officer accused of rape, kidnap, strangulation and sexual abuse * Bail is set at $115,000 in rape case SALEM, Ore. -- A former Salem police officer faces charges of rape, strangulation, kidnapping and sex abuse. Sterling Van Ness Alexander, 38, was arrested and is lodged without bail in the Clackamas County Jail. The alleged victim met Alexander through his work. Prosecutors say the crimes happened in September 2003 while the officer was off duty. It was not reported until earlier this year. Alexander resigned from the Salem Police Department last year. Black professional armed robber shoots lighter-skinned black software engineer in the back in a 'random act'   BALTIMORE -- Police announced Tuesday afternoon the arrest of a man allegedly connected to the slaying of a father of three children last month. Baltimore police said Alvin Williams, 25, turned himself in because of pressure from police and relatives. Authorities charged Williams with the murder of Brian Jones, 33, and two unrelated armed robberies. Jones was shot in what police have called a "random act" -- a robbery in which nothing was taken. Police discovered Jones' body on the lawn of a nursing home with at least one gunshot wound to the back. Jones was a software engineer at Northrup-Grumman who coached sports at a High School. Bakersfield, CA police are searching for a young black male in 'gang-related' shooting death of a man in the Valley Plaza mall  Officers responded to a report of a shooting inside the Valley Plaza wherein a 19 year old male was shot and killed in the main east west corridor between Champs Sports and Express retail stores. Witnesses reported that two groups of young men confronted each other between the two stores and exchanged words at which point the suspect displayed a handgun and shot at the victim at least on time striking him in the chest. The suspect and other members of the two opposing groups ran west through the mall. The suspect is described as a Black male 15-20 years old, 5'9" -6'0' with short black hair wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and long shorts. - (NNN Newsroom) - (crime) |
Two blacks shoot Hispanic 'Jesus' dead on Christmas Eve  Police have made an arrest in a Christmas Eve shooting case that left one man dead. Terrance Watters, 19, of Birmingham, has been arrested. However, they're still looking for another suspect, 17-year-old Ronald Mayhand. Mayhand is considered armed and dangerous. Police believe the two broke into the home of 26-year-old Jesus Galacia Toral Saturday and shot him. Investigators said robbery was the apparent motive.- (Tyrone N. Butts) - (TNB) - (crime) |
White mother and black live-in boyfriend charged with first-degree murder in beating death of woman's White 6-yr-old son   Family members of the 24-year-old Cahokia mother who is accused of killing her 6-year-old son say that's not the loved one they know. Starr Lohman's mother, Brenda Watts of St. Louis, said her daughter loved her son, Ryan Smith, very much. Lohman and her live-in boyfriend, Lee D. Crutchfield, 33, were charged Tuesday with the beating death of Ryan, who was found dead Christmas Day in Cahokia. St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone said the boy was "badly beaten and clearly emaciated." Diverse Couple Charged With Killing Witness Detectives arrested Aldrick Lillard, 21, and his girlfriend Vanessa Claude, 25 at her home in Murfreesboro. They are charged with killing a murder witness in Rutherford County. The murder was swift and precise. Randy Betts, 49 was killed inside his own home with a single gunshot to the head. The killers left the body, but didn't leave empty handed, they got away with credit cards and checks from the house. Apparently, the suspects went from the murder scene to local stores. Betts was expected to testify against Darren Yeager who is charged with murder of Tony Akins. Black Man Arrested for Raping Two-Month-Old Baby  A St. Landry Parish man could be put to death if he's found guilty of raping a two-month-old baby. The suspect reportedly confessed to the crime. 26-year-old Frederick Bias, Jr. was arrested and booked into the St. Landry Parish jail. Bias is accused of raping a two-month-old baby. The mother witnessed the alleged crime and after talking with family members, decided to bring the two-month-old to an emergency room. Chief Deputy Laura Balthazar says after detectives arrived, it was assertained that Bias molested the young child. Father Arrested For Allegedly Abusing 2-Month-Old Daughter on Christmas  N.C. -- Concord police have arrested a father for allegedly abusing his 2-month-old daughter on Christmas Day. Patrick Anthony Zamor, 24, has been charged with felony child abuse. He is in Jail under a $200,000 bond. The mother of the baby, Saudi Zamor, called 911 on Christmas Day. The baby was transported to Northeast Medical Center. Hospital staff then contacted Concord Police officers. Baby Zamor has life-threatening injuries and remains at NorthEast Medical Center. Man arrested in connection with abuse of his 3-month-old son  CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Officials said a 3-month-old boy is being treated for life-threatening injuries after being abused by his father. Police have not released any details, but said Jerry Edwards has been arrested in connection with the abuse of his son, Christopher. Caretaker beat the 3-year-old boy to death - then tried to pass off the death as an accident  The 911 call came into the Fire Department's communication center shortly after 10:30 a.m. last Tuesday. Quyzir Davis, a cherub-faced 3-year-old boy with wide brown eyes, lay unconscious on the sidewalk. He was unresponsive, and his internal organs were battered and bleeding. Quyzir's caretaker, 26-year-old Alethia McKee, hovered above him, yelling for help, claiming the boy had fallen off the jungle gym. Doctors were unable to revive Quyzir. At 11:21 a.m., he was pronounced dead from "blunt force trauma." McKee, the caretaker, has been charged with murder. Detroit Black's Killing Spree Spanned Three Cities - shot mother, niece - tried to burn bodies then shot UPS co-worker  Jamal Samuels, 22, shot his mother, 56-year-old Annie Samuels after an argument. He then shot his 14-year-old niece, Brittani, who had come out of the bedroom after hearing the commotion. Samuels then allegedly doused his mother and the girl with gasoline. Samuels, who relatives say suffered from psychiatric problems, then took his mother's SUV and drove to Livonia. At about 3 a.m., Samuels showed up at the UPS sorting facility in Livonia, where he worked part time. "He came here to confront his co-worker," said Sgt. Jeff Teeter. Gospel send-off eases former U.S. Rep Frank Ballance's prison blues A loyal following pays tribute to the former congressman, who reports to prison Friday. Former U.S. Rep. Frank Ballance is a felon who admitted diverting public money to his law firm, family and church. But the more than 100 people who greeted him there saw him as nothing less than a "civil rights hero" who has been unjustly sentenced to four years in federal prison. 2 Spanics arrested in Wheaton rape - Woman says two Hispanics dragged her into house and gang-raped her  Two men have been arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred early Christmas Day. Police said a 38-year-old woman was walking on Shorefield Road when she was approached by two Hispanic men. Investigators said the men dragged her to a residence in the 2300 block of Shorefield Road and forcibly raped her. Police arrested Jose H. Portillo, 36, and Manuel Hernandez-Ayala, 32, and charged them with first-degree rape. The men are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center. - (guru2000) - (crime) |
Two of three blacks sentenced for raping two Grand Rapids women A man found guilty of raping two Grand Rapids women will spend at least fifty years behind bars. Eric Anderson was sentenced to 50 – 90 years for forcing two women into a home, sexually assaulting and robbing them. The other suspect in the crime Shawn Wilson was also found guilty on several charges and sentenced to 45 to 90 years behind bars. Rapist learns of victim's suffering "the sexual assaults had changed her daughter, a former athlete who now cowers in her mother's bed". At the trial, the defense argued that whites have difficulty identifying and distinguishing blacks in crimes. But the victim's mother, who is white, said her daughter has friends and family who are black, and she does not lump everyone together. The young woman was confident in her identification, she said. Police have not found the third man. During the crime, the suspects made the victims perform sex acts on one another before assaulting them. Police in Williamsburg and James City County are looking for a 24-year old man accused of sex crimes against a 12-year old girl. Officials say the crimes happened between August and early December at the home of Jonathan White in Williamsburg, as well as at the home of one of White's relatives in James City County. Police say the alleged sex acts did not involve force, but White faces charges because they involved a minor.
