Canada: "Racists exploit Mabior case"
Several white supremacy groups in the U.S. are using the case of an HIV-positive Winnipeg man as "evidence" to support their racist views. Clato Lual Mabior first made national headlines last month when Winnipeg police arrested him and alleged he may have had unprotected sex with more than 25 women without telling them he carried the potentially deadly virus. On Friday, police laid new charges against Mabior, suggesting he has had at least 45 victims and labeling the case as the biggest of its kind in the country.
Several white power websites -- including one known as "the mother of all Internet hate sites" -- have posted Mabior's story on their sites and are using the Sudanese immigrant's situation to further their cause.
Newnation.org calls Mabior an "HIV-positive simian" and lists his story in sections of its website called "Dark Crime" and "Invasion."
Editor note: The phrase "HIV-postive simian" is a personal comment made on the NNN forum and not an official editorial comment about this lowlife sex-crazed scum of an AIDS-carrying African migrant savage. - (Newsroom) - (Canada)
HIV-positive African savage sex fiend faces more charges
Winnipeg police believe an HIV-positive Winnipeg man already facing charges of sexual assault may have had unprotected sex with as many as 45 young women and girls. Subsequent investigation led police to lay dozens more charges, including several charges of aggravated sexual assault and forcible confinement, in connection with seven other incidents involving women and girls ranging in age from 12 to 22. Police now say the man preyed on the most vulnerable women in society, such as runaways and children in foster care. They believe he lured the young girls into his home, offering them food, a place to stay, alcohol and drugs. With the exception of one, police say none of the victims was aware that the man had HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. |
