Shooting Injures White Woman Who Stopped For Gas  WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- A woman was shot in the neck outside a Warrensburg convenience store early Sunday morning, police said. Michelle Kinnison, 20, and her two brothers stopped for gas shortly after midnight. Then, a car pulled up and someone started shooting, officials said.

Cop Killer Could Soon Be Paroled   A convicted cop killer sentenced to die could get out of prison next month. Ronald Reaves and Ricardo Woods shot police officer David Cole multiple times when he confronted them during an attempted robbery in 1974. They even stood over him and fired rounds at him after he was on the ground. The U.S. Supreme Court reduced the sentences to life in prison. But Woods was paroled in 1994 without notice and now Cole's widow, parents, and police want to stop that from happening with Reaves. His widow and the Fraternal Order of Police want you to contact the parole board to ask them to keep him locked up. Stephen Soules gets life for raping and killing a Western Kentucky University student in her dorm room   A Scottsville man who admitted raping and killing a Western Kentucky University student in her dorm room will spend the rest of his life in prison with no chance for parole. Barring the emergence of new evidence, the sentencing of Stephen Soules yesterday concluded the investigation into the 2003 arson attack on Melissa "Katie" Autry, officials said. Autry, 18, was raped, sodomized and set on fire in her dorm room on May 4, 2003. She suffered third-degree burns and died three days later at a Nashville, Tenn., hospital. - (forum) |
Cop-killer "Quisi" on death row goes backs on trial accused of raping, kidnapping 2 women  CLEVELAND -- He’s already on death row for murdering a Cleveland police officer. Now, Quisi Bryan is going back on trial - this time for raping and kidnapping two Cleveland women. The two new cases against Quisi Bryan took 11 years to solve. That’s because the rape kit evidence had been sitting in the Cleveland police storage facility since 1994. White woman manhandled and slammed to the ground for no reason by black Atlanta cop - Officer in Airport Arrest Fired    Three weeks ago, Diana Dietrich-Barnes was arrested at the airport's passenger pick-up area. The arrest was captured by surveillance cameras. The video shows Atlanta police officer Terrance Alexander pull her from the driver's seat and carry her to the back of her SUV, where it appears he lifts her up and flips her over. $1 million reward Monday for a Black Liberation Army member Joanne Chesimard aka Assata Shakur   convicted of fatally shooting a New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster 32 years ago. Joanne Chesimard escaped from a women's prison in Hunterdon County in 1979, after she was convicted of the 1973 slaying. Black man sentenced for machete attack on 59-year-old White woman   Damian Hayes, who was convicted of attacking a woman with a machete while she gardened in her backyard, was sentenced to life in prison. Hayes' victim, Eileen Klinck, said seeing Hayes at his sentencing hearing in a Tampa courtroom was chilling. "I felt trembling and cold." "It's hard because the memories are so painful." Before sentencing, Hayes' father, Freddie Hayes, told the court his son is mentally ill and asked for mercy. Student Lindsey Bonistall of White Plains was Strangled by black home invader   Newark police are hoping that a home invasion early Saturday morning can be linked to the suspect in the murder of a University of Delaware student. Twenty-year-old Lindsey Bonistall of White Plains, New York, was strangled before her apartment was set on fire Sunday morning. Dante Osbourne charged with murder of Bethany Mercer in drug-related robbery   The woman fatally wounded during an apparent attempted drug-related robbery is identified as Bethany Mercer, 22. Charged with criminal homicide is Dante Osbourne, 19. The investigation shows that Mercer and two friends drove to Brookwood Apartments in a pickup truck to buy drugs. Osbourne approached the truck on the passenger side, where Mercer was seated, pulled a gun and pointed it at the driver. The driver pushed the gun away and Osbourne shot Mercer. Black Pair (only) get 43 years for kidnap-rape-murder of White woman at Camden train station  CAMDEN, N.J. -- Marcus Toliver and Ryshaone H. Thomas were rewarded with a generous 43 years in prison with free room, board and medical for the 2001 murder of a bride-to-be. They remained stone-faced as a judge angrily rebuked them and relatives of their victim sobbed and railed against the criminal justice system. The judge said "You have nothing of value to the human race." Eberle's mother, Linda Reis, said she continues to pay her daughter's cell phone bill just so she can dial the number and hear her voice on her voicemail greeting. "Chris didn't get to bargain when she was killed," Reis said - (The Bobster) Ref: "She was sobbing for her life," Ryshaone Thomas would later tell police. "I felt bad." One we missed last month - black man sentenced to death for killing his white ex-girlfriend - there is a moral somewhere here...   GREENVILLE, S.C. - Charles Williams has been sentenced to death for killing Maranda Williams his ex-girlfriend during a standoff with police at a grocery store here. The two were not related. During the guilt phase of the trial prosecutors showed a slow-motion video of Maranda Williams running in the store, with a man following behind her with a sawed-off shotgun at his shoulder. The woman was shot three times in the back. New Orleans: 3 black teens booked in killing of White waitress   Detectives believe the three black teens, Marcus, Darnell and Ahmad, confronted Alyssa Kovash and another woman as they got out of a cab at Robert Street and St. Charles Avenue. According to the survivor, who worked with Kovash at Crescent City Brewhouse, the robbers pulled a gun and demanded their purses. Kovash fought back and one of the men fired a single shot that hit her in the head. She was taken to Charity Hospital and died a day later. Police said all three gave statements to detectives detailing their participation in the killing. Marcus Pleasant, 17, was arrested and booked on first-degree murder charges.Darnell Gilmore, 18, who had been locked up in prison since April 19 on unrelated charges, also was booked with first-degree murder. Police officer clings to life after shooting - 2 Antioch teens held after robbery of bank branch at grocery  Police arrested two feral teens in the shooting of a Pittsburg patrol officer who was clinging to life in a hospital. Officer Larry Lasater had encountered the teens on a trail after they allegedly robbed a supermarket and crashed their getaway car. Lasater -- a former Marine tank commander whose wife is seven months pregnant with the couple's first child -- was in critical condition and on life support with two wounds from bullets that struck him even though he was wearing body armor. Accused Black Killer of White Boy "Not Competent To Stand Trial"  A judge in Alexandria ruled that Gregory Murphy was still not competent to stand trial for allegedly killing 8-year-old Kevin Shifflet in 2000. The boy was stabbed to death as he played in front of his grandmother's home in Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood.

Reward Offered For Missing 5-Year-Old - Emily Rimel Disappeared Dec. 7  COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There is another plea from a Franklin County family to help find a missing 5-year-old girl. Emily Rimel disappeared from her Madison Township apartment in the early morning hours of Dec. 7. Dispite a widespread search effort, she has not been seen or heard from since. Police arrested Lindsey Bruce, 23, and charged him with raping the girl. There is a $12,000 reward for information that leads to Emily's whereabouts.
