Negro parking garage robbers awarded with free room and board for leaving a White man paralyzed for life    The image of Michael Lahoff in a hospital bed detailing how his life was destroyed by a street robber's bullet brought many people in the courtroom to tears. The two men convicted of paralyzing Lahoff in a parking garage sat stone-faced, though, until the Judge announced their punishment. Triggerman Marty Allen Armstrong, 21, cried as the judge sentenced him to 25 to 50 years in prison for what the judge called a "horrendous, vicious and senseless crime." His accomplice, Lamont Fulton, 19, smiled and remained defiant even after Manning sentenced him to 15 to 30 years . - (Rasp, Brewski) |
Man Sentenced In BSU Student's Shooting Death that netted $2  A man who admitted he shot and killed a University student was sentenced to 85 years in prison. Damien Sanders, 23, pleaded guilty to murder and armed robbery in connection with the 2004 death of Karl Harford. Harford, 20, was robbed by Sanders and two other people after Harford offered them a ride home from an off-campus party. Sanders testified that he shot Harford during the robbery that netted Harford's attackers only $2. Harford's body was found later in an alley One of the other suspects, Brandon L. Accused Black Killer of White Boy "Not Competent To Stand Trial"  A judge in Alexandria ruled that Gregory Murphy was still not competent to stand trial for allegedly killing 8-year-old Kevin Shifflet in 2000. The boy was stabbed to death as he played in front of his grandmother's home in Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood.

Black Man Arrested in Murder of White Grocery Store Owner  The Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in the murder of well-known Gadsden store owner. Deputies say Tommy Taylor shot and killed Fred Hill on January 31st as he opened his Bluff Road grocery store. nvestigators say Taylor had previously worked for Hill and knew his hours and his movements well enough to plan the crime. Through their investigation they also learned Taylor owned a handgun and had disappeared shortly after the murder. That, coupled with forensic evidence and Taylor's own incriminating statements led to his arrest Wednesday morning in Lee County. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
3 Md. Prison Guards Fired in White Inmate Death  Md. -- The state fired three guards Wednesday in connection with the strangulation of an inmate who had been seated on a prison bus near a murderer who had told a judge a day earlier that he would likely kill again. Philip E. Parker Jr. was killed by one or more inmates aboard a bus carrying 35 prisoners in handcuffs and leg irons. Prison officials have not named any suspects, but investigators have focused on Kevin G. Johns Jr., 22, a twice-convicted murderer. - (Brewski) |
White school dean gunned down by two black youths   Baltimore County police arrested two men in connection with the shooting death of a private boys school dean Friday night. Police said John Edward Kennedy, 18, of Essex, and Javon Clark, 18, of Middle River, were arrested Sunday evening. They were charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of William Bassett. Bassett, 58, was shot and killed near the Nordstrom's entrance at the Towson Town Center at around 8 p.m. Friday a short distance from his car. Lawsuit Claims 'Grand Theft Auto' Motivated Black Teen Gunman - Moore Allegedly Killed Three Fayette Police Officers In 2003   FAYETTE, Ala. -- A lawsuit claims Devon Moore was encouraged to kill three Fayette police officers after playing the video game "Grand Theft Auto." Attorneys for two Fayette families have filed a 57-page, $600 million lawsuit against Wal-Mart, Sony, Game Stop video game stores and Take 2 Interactive.

Black serial killer Derrick Todd Lee Won't Stand Trial for Attempted Rape and Murder of White woman    She is the only woman to have been attacked by serial killer Derrick Todd Lee and lived to tell about it. So not surprisingly, Dianne Alexander's testimony helped Baton Rouge prosecutors secure back-to-back convictions against Lee. Lee received a life sentence in the murder of Geralyn DeSoto and the death penalty for the rape and murder of Charlotte Murray Pace. But, Lee will not stand trial for the attempted rape and murder of Alexander . |
Black boy, 16, only gets 20 years for raping, sodomizing and strangling a 14-year-old White girl and his own cousin  Saying Lamon McKoy is "a menace to everybody," a judge sentenced the 16-year-old to 20 years to life in prison for killing two teenage girls in Geneva. "There's no question in my mind you have forfeited your right to live in society," "You are a rolling ball of chaos." McKoy was 15 when he strangled, sodomized and raped Ashley Vincent, 14, and his cousin, Monique McKoy, 18. After his arrest, two other young girls came forward, saying they also had been sexually assaulted by McKoy.
David Libsack, Ashley's stepfather, also said in court how Ashley's death has affected his family. "Look at me, you coward!" he shouted at McKoy. "You don't deserve to live another day." Libsack said McKoy should have a tattoo on his forehead, branding him as a "perverted, child-molesting child killer." He said he hopes McKoy dies in prison. "You will burn in hell for what you did," Libsack said. "When you do not exist anymore, the world will be a better place. So hurry up and go to hell, you child killer." - (Gman) |
Black Suspect in kidnap-murder of White sorority girl enters his plea - (annoying audio ads at link)   POMONA -- Family and friends of Cal Poly Pomona coed Christina Burmeister donned yellow, red and black ribbons in a packed courtroom Thursday. They came to Pomona Superior Court to catch one of their first glimpses of James Winslow Dixon Jr., the former Monrovia gang member who is accused of killing the 20-year-old Cerritos woman. Dixon pleaded not guilty to Burmeister's murder and two unrelated West Covina rape charges. Burmeister was found with her throat cut inside her new Chevy in 2001. Black Haitian migrant impersonating cop - pulled over White banker and murdered him   Reginald Gousse, the man accused of shooting to death a Garden City man after pulling him over and impersonating a police officer, was arraigned yesterday on charges of second-degree murder. Gousse, 31, of Rosedale, pleaded not guilty to the charges in First District Court in Hempstead, as the widow of the victim, James Gottlieb, watched and trembled with emotion. Gousse has an alien card, which says he is originally from Haiti, and is potentially facing life in prison.Gousse also served 5 years at Sing Sing state prison from 1992 to 1997 on a first-degree attempted robbery conviction. - (Brewski) |
Second White woman says she was drugged, groped by black "comedian" Bill Cosby - 'He Violated Me'  A California lawyer says that Bill Cosby drugged her and tried to force himself on her about 30 years ago. Tamara Green, said that Cosby disappeared into a restaurant office and returned with two gray-and-red capsules, which he gave to her then got her to her apartment, came inside and began trying to take off her clothes. "I started fighting him and he's kissing on me, peeling off my clothes," she said. "I'm starting to freak and I'm telling him, 'You're going to have to kill me.' Black Suspect Arrested Nearly Five Years After Killing White Man   A man has been arrested on murder charges nearly five years after the body of a 22-year-old man was found in a Fort Lauderdale trash bin. On April 5, 2000, a fire in a trash bin led authorities to discover the body of Matthew Collins, 22, burned beyond recognition. Authorities said Collins had a conflict with fellow employees at a Mars Music store. Fort Lauderdale detectives said they decided to pursue all leads until they paid off, resulting in the arrest of Brendan Rao. Police said Rao made comments during a taped telephone conversation that contained details about the crime they say only Collins' killer could have known. - (Brewski)

| Black suspect arrested in murder of White inmate on prison bus Police now have a suspect in last week`s murder of a Baltimore prisoner: Kevin Johns. Johns has been accused of killing fellow inmate, 20-year-old Phillip Parker, Jr., on a prison bus last week. Prison officials said Parker was strangled to death. Parker, an inmate in Baltimore serving time for unarmed robbery, came to Hagerstown to testify against another inmate. When the bus he was traveling on arrived back in Baltimore, his lifeless body was discovered. Kevin Johns, already sentenced to life behind bars for killing his cell mate, is now accused of strangling Parker. - (Brewski) |
Family of White Man Gunned Down in "Thrill Kill" by TB and Jamar Speak Out  A family tries to make sense of their loved one's murder, something police are calling a "thrill kill." Police say John McCoy was gunned down in cold blood Monday night. While the two suspects sit behind bars Friday night, the McCoy family prepares to say their final goodbyes. The family says they are getting their strength from John McCoy's 10-year-old daughter Marissa. McCoy had no chance Monday night when police say Terrence Bowser and Jamar Green pulled up beside his car and opened fire. The men told police they wanted to see what it was like to kill someone. Black pimp: 4 sentenced for Prostituting 13-Year-Old White Girl   CLEVELAND -- Four people convicted of leading a 13-year-old girl into prostitution were in court to face their sentence. The young victim, now 15, explained how her life went terribly wrong. She was just 13 years old when Anthony Freeman (pictured) promoted her as a prostitute. Freeman was sentenced to only four years in prison on four counts of promoting prostitution.

| White man robbed then dragged behind a truck by two (non-whites) using racial slurs - "Not a hate crime" A Hartsville man says two robbers took his money, then dragged him behind a truck last weekend. The victim, who is white, told officers the men used racial slurs as they chained him to the truck. But, Darlington County Sheriff's Lieutenant Robin Bryant said he does not think at this point the crime was racially motivated because the men were first "just interested in robbing the victim". - (Tyrone N. Adopted son of white professor bashed to death with baseball bat sentenced to life in prison  Tavares Williams, 21, was found guilty Tuesday in the beating death of his guardian, UF adjunct professor Barbara Roth, 51, three years ago. Roth's body was found in her apartment in January 2002. Williams, then 18, at first denied involvement in the slaying, but later confessed to hitting Roth with a baseball bat. Roth had first met Williams while she was a social worker in central Florida. She eventually adopted him a few years before the slaying, associates said. Reward Offered For Missing 5-Year-Old - Emily Rimel Disappeared Dec. 7  COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There is another plea from a Franklin County family to help find a missing 5-year-old girl. Emily Rimel disappeared from her Madison Township apartment in the early morning hours of Dec. 7. Dispite a widespread search effort, she has not been seen or heard from since. Police arrested Lindsey Bruce, 23, and charged him with raping the girl. There is a $12,000 reward for information that leads to Emily's whereabouts.
