California: Black Serial Killer Suspected in 30 Killings Is Charged in Deaths of 5 People    A man already accused of killing two White senior women and suspected in the deaths of as many as 30 more was charged with raping and murdering five other victims. The man, John F. Thomas, 73, was charged with killing the women from 1975 to 1986. The women, 56 to 80 years old, were all strangled. Mr. Thomas will stand trial for all seven deaths simultaneously. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail. Calls to his court-appointed lawyers were not immediately returned. The victims in all 30 cases under review were older white women, mostly of lower incomes and often widows living alone, Cremins said. | Beating of white student by two black students appeared to be racially motivated A southwestern Illinois school superintendent says two students suspected of attacking a 17-year-old schoolmate on a school bus have been suspended. Greg Moats cited state privacy laws in declining to say how long the suspensions involving the Belleville West High School students, ages 15 and 14, over Monday's disruptions on the bus would last. White teen with Afro girlfriend - beaten by a pack of about 10 to 12 black males A Buffalo teen, viciously attacked earlier this week, remains in the hospital. Police are investigating the beating as a possible hate crime because the victim is white and the wanted suspects are a dozen African American men. Brian Milligan, 18, is recovering at Erie County Medical Center. He's got bleeding in his brain and a broken jaw. Police say the group of men attacked him Tuesday night near the corner of Genesee Street and Floss Avenue. "It didn't even look like my son," said Brian Milligan Sr., describing what his son looked like after the beating. He feels confident his son's beating is a hate crime because his son is white and his African American girlfriend was repeatedly taunted and teased about their relationship before the attack. "They're just in love. They just want to be left alone," he said. Brian's father says his son didn't get a good look at those who beat him because they hit him from behind using a concrete brick. "I mean, I couldn't believe that a human can lose so much blood and walk home for five blocks," Milligan Sr. said. Buffalo Police have not arrested anyone for the crime. Milligan thinks the police response would have been different if his son wasn't white. White State trooper survives DUI hit and run by black  An Indiana state trooper and his canine companion are recovering after a drunk driver hit them early Friday morning. Trooper Kyle Freeman had been working a multi-car accident on I-70 East and Emerson when the accident occurred. "I was in my police vehicle and I was filling out a report at the time, had no idea, did not see it coming and was struck behind," said Trooper Kyle Freeman. State police believe Zenith Hardin, 40, was intoxicated when his car hit the squad car. "With my experience of being hit by impaired drivers in the past, I kind of knew what had happened," Freeman said Friday. Black serial killer wants confession thrown out - raped and murdered 13-yr-old White girl  A 19 year old Anthony Kirkland was first convicted in the 1987 beating death of his then girlfriend that he also set on fire. Kirkland served 16 years of a 25 year sentence. He was paroled in 2003, and left unsupervised after 13 months of probation.
Kirland was sent back to prison in 2007 for trying to have sex with a 13 year old, he was out and living at the now notorious Pogue Center in a years time, this time he was also a convicted sex offender.
From the time he was first paroled in 2003 to the arrest in the rape and murder of Esme Kenney; Kirkland is accused of rape, assault, and multiple counts of murder. New Orleans black pleads guilty in beating death of White DEA agent  A New Orleans man today pleaded guilty to the beating death of a Houston Drug Enforcement Administration agent in town for a conference last August. Ameal Parker, Jr. accepted a 30-year prison sentence in an agreement worked out with the U.S. Attorney's office. As part of the agreement, Parker admitted beating and robbing Special Agent Thomas J. Byrne on Aug. 28, 2008 while he was walking in the French Quarter area and apparently got lost. The judge told Parker that he will make a final determination about whether to accept the plea agreement after federal probation agents submit a sentencing report. Black who murdered white lesbian threatened to kill his mother last year  Six days before a Seattle woman was stabbed to death in her sleep, a judge declined to have the suspect locked up. Isaiah M.K. Kalebu, a 23-year-old man with a history of mental illness, was arrested in the stabbing Friday night and was scheduled to have a bail hearing at the King County Jail on Saturday afternoon. Earlier this month, he was out on bail pending trial on charges that he threatened to kill his mother last year. After a suspicious fire at his aunt's home killed two people, prosecutors asked King County Superior Court Judge Brian Gain to remand Kalebu to custody. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) St. Louis native stabbed to death in Seattle A St. Louis native is dead after being stabbed to death in Seattle. The woman's family is grieving while police search for her killer. Investigators say 36-year-old Teresa Butz and her "partner" girlfriend were sleeping Sunday morning inside their Seattle home when a man entered the home and attacked them. Both of the victims were shot before they ran out into the street, where Butz died. Her girlfriend survived but was hospitalized. Police do not believe Teresa Butz or her girlfriend knew their attacker. |

The now 62-year-old Barrett became a suspect in the case 11/2 years ago through DNA testing. He is currently serving a life sentence for the 1975 rape and murder of a Vanderbilt University coed Sarah Des Prez. He killed just three weeks before Marcia Trimble went missing. All told, he has been charged with six crimes that happened in the early months of 1975. He was caught one night in March 1975, and he became the prime suspect in a string of sex crimes. But it was the DNA that told detectives who to arrest for the homicides. He killed Sarah Des Prez, a Vanderbilt University student. She probably was raped and suffocated there in her own apartment. Barrett's semen was in the bed, his skin under her fingernails. |
Guilty verdict against black caregiver in rape of blind, mute White woman  A 32-year-old former assistant at a Kent assisted-living facility has been found guilty in the rape of a developmentally disabled patient. Following a bench trial, a King County Superior Court Judge Richard McDermott found Joseph Thurura guilty of second-degree rape in the 2008 assault. Prosecutors had argued that Thurura impregnated the 45-year-old woman, who is blind and unable to speak or otherwise communicate due to her disabilities. The woman later had a miscarriage. Unable to identify her assailant, police took DNA samples from 11 men who had been in a position to have sexual contact with the woman. Homeless negro rapes White woman * Racial Rape Victim Speaks About Attack  One of the victims of a 19-year-old man who confessed Thursday to raping and robbing a woman, as well as attacking another, is speaking out about her encounter. "Suddenly he just got around me and put me in a headlock and I fell to the ground, not hard but on my backside and he said 'please don't scream miss, I have an anger problem,'" Paula Beattie said. She said that her attacker put his hands over her mouth and she had a hard time getting away, but eventually did. "I couldn't pry him loose and he wasn't a big kid, but I couldn't pry him loose," Beattie said. Black bouncer Littlejohn gets life for murder of white woman Imette St. Guillen  Former bouncer Darryl Littlejohn was sentenced to life without parole for the brutal murder of grad student Imette St. Guillen after her mother read a moving letter in court. Littlejohn stared into space and chewed a huge wad of gum as Maureen St. Guillen read passages from the diarylike letter her slain daughter wrote to herself on her 24th birthday. "God, I can't believe I'm 24," Imette St. Guillen wrote nearly a year before her brutal murder. "I hope this year will be as good as last year. Happy birthday Imette." The letter was punctuated with a smiley face. "I will never share another birthday with her," Maureen St. Guillen mournfully told the judge. Black boyfriend bashes little 11-month-old White boy to death   KOKOMO, Ind. -- The boyfriend of a Kokomo woman whose 11-month-old son died from a blow to the head was arrested Wednesday in the boy's death. Derrick A. Fox, 28, took Malaki Lindley to a Kokomo hospital early Sunday unconscious and unresponsive, said Kokomo police Lt. Don Whitehead. An autopsy later determined that the boy had died from blunt force trauma to the head. Fox was taken into custody on Wednesday and preliminarily charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death, Whitehead said. Black murders two little White girls 4 and 5 years old - flees from scene   The man accused of killing two young girls on Friday is now behind bars after police worked through the night to make an arrest. A four and five year old and one of their mothers were walking near the University of Louisville when they were struck by a car and left for dead. It took police less than three hours to track down the man they say was behind the wheel when a car struck 4-year-old Riley Lawrence and 5-year-old Claudia Wadlington, killing them, and injuring one of the victim’s mothers. Negro sentenced to death for slaughter of White 10-year-old girl and her family   A Tulsa man who was convicted last month of three murders in Owassowas formally sentenced to three death sentences. The Judge set an execution date for Clarence Goode Jr. Jurors found Goode, 31, guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Kayla Burchett, 10, a Collinsville fifth-grader; her mother, Tara Burchett-Thompson, 25; and the slain woman's husband, Mitch Thompson, 28. Their bodies were found Aug. 26, 2005, at the couple's home. The jury imposed a death sentence on each murder count, and Goode received a concurrent 20-year term for first-degree burglary. He has maintained that he is innocent. Co-defendant Kenneth D. Johnson faces a Feb. 19 trial on the same charges. Black Juvenile Serial Killer Remains in Prison   WARWICK, R.I. - They called him Iron Man, a hulking teenage football player with a baby face and winsome smile who lived with his parents in a small ranch house in the Buttonwoods section of town. Then, one summer night in 1987, Craig Price crept across his neighbor's yard, broke into a little brown house on Inez Avenue and stabbed Rebecca Spencer 58 times. She was a 27-year-old mother of two. He was 13. Two years passed before Price struck again. Joan Heaton, 39, was butchered with the kitchen knives she had bought earlier that day. The bodies of her daughters, Jennifer 10, and Melissa 8, were found in pools of blood, pieces of knives broken off in their bones; Jennifer had been stabbed 62 times. Buttonwoods was paralyzed. After a search, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took Michael Graham Currie, 18, into custody Monday night. All three teens were charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of breaking and entering. All are from Cameron. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Dark Demon Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Mitchell later moved to Connecticut and was convicted in January 2003 of illegal sexual contact with another child.
