Black New York man who shot white teen gets only 2 to 4 years in prison  A black father was sentenced to two to four years in prison Wednesday for fatally shooting an intoxicated white teenager during a racially charged confrontation with two carloads of young people at the end of his driveway.
The parents of victim Daniel Cicciaro Jr., 17, were irate after learning that John White did not receive the maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
White, 54, was convicted in December of second-degree manslaughter and a weapons charge. "Nice message it sends to society that as long as you’re black and there’s a problem at the end of your driveway you can grab an illegal handgun and shoot someone in the face and get away with it," an infuriated Daniel Cicciaro Sr. told reporters while dozens of supporters sobbed nearby. Pack of four blacks arrested in murder of White man   Longwood Police have arrested four suspects in the murder of a Raven Avenue man who was found shot to death on his doorstep last month. On Thursday Longwood Police arrested Shaun A. Moxey, 27, Leverne W. Washington, 18, Nelson Flores, 18, and 16-year-old Juan-Enrique Romero. Investigators say the suspects drove to Sam Stiverson’s home on February 29 to commit a home invasion robbery and came into contact with him. Black charged with murder of White woman in cold case * Charges filed   Back in 1991 22-year-old Cindy Pavey was found beaten to death inside her Murphysboro home. Now more than a decade later, the man accused of the murder appears again in court. 37-year-old Quincy Hughes faces four counts of first degree murder. Thanks to advances in DNA technology, authorities were able to move forward with the case, arresting Hughes just last month. Alleged nigger murderer of co-ed Eve Carson arrested and charged in other campus slaying  A suspect in the slaying of a popular University of North Carolina student was charged Thursday with the killing of a graduate student at Duke University. A warrant charges 17-year-old Lawrence Alvin Lovette Jr. with first-degree murder in the death of Abhijit Mahato. Mahato, 29, originally of Tatangar, India, was a doctoral student in computational mechanics. He was found shot to death inside his apartment a few blocks south of Duke's campus in January. Lovette and Demario James Atwater, 21, were charged with first-degree murder in the death of Eve Carson. The 22-year-old was found last week lying on a street about a mile from the North Carolina campus in nearby Chapel Hill. Another Negro suspect in murder of White University Class President Coed Detectives are searching for a Negro photographed using the A.T.M. card of the University of North Carolina student body president who was found shot to death on a city street. The student, Eve Carson, 22, of Athens, Ga., was found Wednesday morning lying on a street about a mile from campus. She had been shot several times, including once in the right temple. Black Suspect Charged in Attempted Rape, Murder of White Auburn Student - Could Face Death Penalty  A 23-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in the death of an 18-year-old Auburn University student and could face the death penalty if convicted. The suspect, Courtney Lockhart, also faces charges of kidnapping, robbery and attempted rape, Auburn Assistant Police Chief Thomas Dawson said at a news conference. Tobyhanna Negro charged with killing, dismembering White woman  More than a month after a woman's dismembered body was found in garbage bags along Interstates 380 and 80, police charged a Tobyhanna man today with her homicide. Police arrested Charles Ray Hicks, 33, after allegedly finding disembodied hands in his apartment. Hicks, who has lived on the 100 block of Prospect Street in Coolbaugh Township since going to work for a contractor at the Tobyhanna Army Depot on Jan. 2, was charged with homicide, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and abuse of corpse in the slaying of Deanna Null, 36. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |

Black on trial for rape and murder of White woman - left her freezing to death behind trash bins  A 61-year-old woman who was raped and abandoned outdoors in frigid temperatures was able to describe the assault and her attacker before she died of exposure, a police officer testified. Denver police officer Michael Oestmann said he found a partially clothed Judith Pyle between trash bins in an alley after he was sent to the area Dec. 9 on reports of a woman screaming for help. "She said she saw the suspect when she got off a bus and that he followed her, pushed her into the alley, held her down and . . . raped her. " Pyle also told the officer that she was cold and unable to get up, but described her attacker as a black man in his 50s, wearing a tan jacket with a hood. Oestmann's testimony came during a preliminary hearing in Denver County Court on whether there was probable cause to try Willie James Trimble, a repeat parole violator, in Pyle's death. Kansas City police arrest Negro for murder of White woman On Saturday, February 16, 2008 at approximately 3pm, KCMO Police were called to a residence in the 1100 block of East 65 Street in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the lifeless body of a white female inside the residence. Authorities arrested Claude Gross. Police had gotten a tip that Gross was on a bus. Black cop turns in son arrested for brutal stabbing murder of elderly White woman  Minneapolis police have arrested two more teenagers in the death of a 70-year-old woman on the city's north side. The suspects are 15 and 16 years old. Both are being held in the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Facility. Earlier, a 15-year-old boy was arrested in the death of Pirkko Gaultney, whose body was found in her home Wednesday night. Police say that boy's father turned him in. White Mayor shot by crazed black gunman is improving * Ref: The gunman Charles Lee "Cookie" Thornton   The condition of Kirkwood Mayor Mike Swoboda was upgraded Friday to serious from critical, but a family spokesman said his recovery from the shooting at Kirkwood City Hall would take months. "His activities continue to increase," Tom Noonan, the spokesman, said of Swoboda. "He's looking around and shaking hands to some extent." Noonan spoke to reporters at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where Swoboda is being treated. Swoboda, 69, was shot twice in the head Feb. 7. Black Deputy Who Dumped Paralyzed White Man Out Of Wheelchair Arrested For Abuse * Arrested  A Hillsborough County, Florida sheriff's deputy who was caught on a surveillance video dumping a quadriplegic out of a wheelchair has been charged with abuse of a disabled person, a third-degree felony. The deputy, Charlette Marshall-Jones, 44, has been suspended without pay over the Jan. 29 incident. After an arrest warrant was issued, Marshall-Jones turned herself in and was booked into jail early Saturday. The victim, Brian Sterner, 32, has been paralyzed since a 1994 wrestling accident. Three other deputies have also been placed on administrative leave over the incident. Negro sentenced to death for slaughter of White 10-year-old girl and her family   A Tulsa man who was convicted last month of three murders in Owassowas formally sentenced to three death sentences. The Judge set an execution date for Clarence Goode Jr. Jurors found Goode, 31, guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Kayla Burchett, 10, a Collinsville fifth-grader; her mother, Tara Burchett-Thompson, 25; and the slain woman's husband, Mitch Thompson, 28. Their bodies were found Aug. 26, 2005, at the couple's home. The jury imposed a death sentence on each murder count, and Goode received a concurrent 20-year term for first-degree burglary. He has maintained that he is innocent. Co-defendant Kenneth D. Johnson faces a Feb. 19 trial on the same charges. Black Juvenile Serial Killer Remains in Prison   WARWICK, R.I. - They called him Iron Man, a hulking teenage football player with a baby face and winsome smile who lived with his parents in a small ranch house in the Buttonwoods section of town. Then, one summer night in 1987, Craig Price crept across his neighbor's yard, broke into a little brown house on Inez Avenue and stabbed Rebecca Spencer 58 times. She was a 27-year-old mother of two. He was 13. Two years passed before Price struck again. Joan Heaton, 39, was butchered with the kitchen knives she had bought earlier that day. The bodies of her daughters, Jennifer 10, and Melissa 8, were found in pools of blood, pieces of knives broken off in their bones; Jennifer had been stabbed 62 times. Buttonwoods was paralyzed. Police combed the streets. Neighbors padlocked their doors. After a search, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took Michael Graham Currie, 18, into custody Monday night. All three teens were charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of breaking and entering. All are from Cameron. Twelve-year-old Emily Elizabeth Haddock was shot to death Friday in her home on Marks Road outside of Vass, authorities said. The girl had stayed home from school with strep throat and was alone. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Dark Demon Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Mitchell later moved to Connecticut and was convicted in January 2003 of illegal sexual contact with another child.
